Historic family house in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
A house with a story
Villa Silvestri was originally known as Alba. The house was rebuilt in the late 19th century and completed in 1909 by Domenica becoming the home of the Silvestri family. During the First World War, the villa was occupied by the Austro-Hungarian command during the retreat from Caporetto. The family was forced to leave and found refuge in Florence before eventually returning to Friuli. Stefano Silvestri was born here. After leaving for Rome, he returned years later to a house that had been abandoned. He entered the villa at down, on the birthday of his grandmother Domenica.

A palace to stay, remember and discover. Villa Silvestri remains a family house: simple, authentic and connected to the landscape and history of Friuli.
